Your privacy is our priority. We do not log VPN connection traffic and are committed to protecting your personal information.

At Fylfot Software Pvt Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Secure VPN Unlimited (the "Service").

Our Core Commitment — No-Logs VPN Policy:

We operate a strict no-logs policy for VPN usage: we do not collect, store, or log VPN traffic, DNS queries, browsing activity, connection timestamps, session durations, IP addresses used while connected, or any data transmitted through our VPN servers. Separately, we collect limited operational data (account metadata and device/app metadata) strictly for providing and improving the Service. Any operational analytics we use are aggregate-only and cannot identify individuals. Advertising SDKs are used only in our Android free build and are isolated from VPN functionality; they do not receive VPN traffic and are not used to profile VPN usage. See Sections 1.2 and 10 for details.

No third-party use of VPN data

We do not sell, trade, or disclose VPN usage data to third parties for any purpose. VPN usage data includes browsing activity, connection logs, DNS queries, assigned IP addresses, and any data transmitted over the VPN. We do not permit advertising networks, analytics providers, or other third parties to receive VPN usage data from our systems. Any third-party SDKs (e.g., advertising on Android) are strictly separated from VPN traffic and do not receive or process VPN usage data.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 VPN Activity We DO NOT Collect

We do not collect, log, or store any data related to your VPN usage, including:

  • Your browsing history or websites visited
  • VPN traffic data or DNS queries
  • Connection timestamps or session duration
  • IP addresses assigned or used while connected to our VPN
  • Individual bandwidth usage per user
  • Any data transmitted through our VPN servers

1.2 Operational Data We DO Collect

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service we collect limited operational data. This information is collected and stored separately from VPN traffic and is not linked to browsing activity or connection logs:

  • Account Information: Email address for account creation and communication. Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive or store your payment card details.
  • Device & App Metadata: Device model, operating system version, app version, and crash/diagnostic data used for troubleshooting and improving compatibility. This metadata is not associated with VPN traffic or browsing activity.
  • Aggregate Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated metrics (e.g., total active users, overall bandwidth across all users). These metrics cannot be used to identify individual users and are used only to maintain and improve the Service. We do not share these aggregated analytics with advertising partners in a way that could identify VPN usage.
  • Customer Support Data: Messages and information you voluntarily send to us when requesting support.

1.3 Third-Party SDKs and Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free Android version of our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob and other third-party advertising SDKs may independently collect advertising identifiers and device telemetry (for example, Advertising ID/GAID, device model, OS version, and approximate location derived from IP) when ads are shown. The iOS build of our app does not include AdMob or other third-party advertising SDKs — ads are not present in the iOS app.

We do not link data collected by advertising SDKs to VPN traffic, browsing activity, or connection logs. Advertising data is collected and processed by the advertising provider under their privacy policy and your consent choices. See Section 10 for more detail.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the minimal information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your subscription and payments
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send important notices about the Service
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • Payment Processors (Apple / Google): Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details. These platforms have their own privacy policies governing payment data.
  • Advertising Partner (Google AdMob): In the free version of the app, Google AdMob collects certain device identifiers independently to serve ads. We do not share your account data with AdMob. See Section 10 for full details.
  • Hosting & Infrastructure Providers: We use third-party hosting providers under strict confidentiality agreements to operate our servers. These providers process data only as directed by us.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred. We will notify users in advance of any such transfer.
  • Safety & Protection: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Fylfot Software, our users, or the public.

We never share your VPN usage data, browsing activity, or connection logs with any third party under any circumstances.

No third-party data sharing for VPN service

We do not share, sell, or disclose any VPN usage data (including browsing activity, connection logs, DNS queries, or assigned IP addresses) with third parties for any purpose. Any advertising or analytics SDKs used in our free Android app operate independently of the VPN service UI and code; data collected by those SDKs is not used to identify or profile VPN usage. For iOS builds, no advertising SDKs are included and no advertising identifiers are read or transmitted by the app.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • WireGuard protocol for VPN connections.
  • Secure servers in multiple jurisdictions
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Limited employee access to personal data

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request access to your personal information
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
  • Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Objection: Object to certain data processing activities
  • Withdrawal: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

6. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods:

  • Account Information (email): Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
  • Payment Records: Retained for up to 7 years as required for financial and tax compliance. Note: payment card details are held by Apple/Google, not by us.
  • Device & App Version Information: Retained for up to 12 months for troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Aggregate Analytics: Retained indefinitely in anonymized form. This data cannot be linked to any individual.
  • Customer Support Communications: Retained for up to 2 years to assist with follow-up inquiries, then deleted.
  • VPN Usage/Traffic Data: Not collected or retained. Zero retention.

Upon account deletion, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize all personally identifiable data within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

10. Advertising and Third-Party Ads

The free version of our mobile application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Premium subscribers do not see ads and AdMob data collection does not apply to active premium accounts.

Information Collected by AdMob

Google AdMob independently collects and processes data on its own behalf, including:

  • Advertising ID (IDFA/GAID): A resettable device identifier used to serve and measure ads
  • Device information: Device model, OS version, and screen characteristics
  • Approximate location: Derived from IP address (not precise GPS location)
  • Ad interaction data: Whether ads were viewed or clicked

This data is used by Google to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your consent and applicable local laws. We do not receive or have access to this individually identifiable ad data.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, our app will request your permission before accessing your device's Advertising ID (IDFA) through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You can change this permission at any time in your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Consent for EEA and UK Users (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, ads are shown only after obtaining your explicit consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the app settings or your device's privacy settings.

Opt-Out Options

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

  • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking — disable for this app
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete Advertising ID
  • All platforms: Google Ads Settings

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use minimal cookies and tracking technologies on our website for essential functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
